WHAT WE OFFER:
AudibleRx offers pharmacy based,Medication Specific Counseling Sessions, (Audible Consumer Medication Information) provided in audio format, with the intent of educating individuals to better understand their pharmaceutical care, increase adherence and decrease adverse events. AudibleRx objectively bridges the medication-education gap between the patient, their pharmacist and their doctor. Each session includes all of the OBRA 90 based medication counseling information a patient should receive in a counseling session with their own pharmacist at the pharmacy counter and lasts about six minutes.
After listening to a session, a caregiver or patient will have a clear idea of what they do and dont know about their medications and be in a position to take educated questions back to their own pharmacist or doctor. Each Medication Specific Counseling Session is designed and prepared by a Doctor of Pharmacy following a specific and extensive review of current pharmacy reference material. The sessions are then recorded and presented with the experience that comes with practicing both community and hospital pharmacy for nearly three decades. Counseling information is organized in a fashion that is in concert with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists guidelines for patient counseling.
